WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs, glands, and systems of the body.

By working these reflex points, reflexology aims to support the body’s natural ability to rebalance itself.

Treatments are deeply relaxing and are carried out with you fully clothed, using gentle but effective pressure on the feet.

Reflexology can offer gentle, whole-body support for women who choose not to use HRT or who are unable to do so. Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can place extra strain on the nervous system, affecting sleep, mood and energy levels.

ABOUT ME


I have over 22 years of experience working as a reflexologist and complementary therapist, supporting clients with their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Alongside my long-standing practice, I have completed further specialist training in Reflexology for Menopause, allowing me to offer focused, informed support for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.

I am also a Yoga Teacher, and this holistic background strongly influences my work. My approach is gentle, grounding and nervous-system focused, creating a safe space where your body can slow down, relax and move towards balance at its own pace.

Each Reflexology session is shaped by your individual needs, recognising that every woman’s experience of menopause is unique.

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

Hi Eve, well, what a week it has been since I saw you! I was extremely tired in the following 2-3 days post appointment. I knew it was a release of tension so just did very little to let it to pass through.

My hot flushes decreased by about 90% in that instead of having 20/30 per day, I only had 2 or 3. They didn’t reach the same heat intensity level or last as long either, so that was a relief. The body aches went through a lift in soreness but have settled down now. I still have some but not as much. Oh and the following day- weirdly, my sinuses cleared. I didn’t realise this was much of an issue until they did! The gripping tense painful sensation I have in my right side stayed relaxed through the week and the only time it tensed up again was after something stressful but even then, it hasn’t gone back to being as painful and tight feeling as it was before. Immediately after I left you, it did actually feel like someone had given me a bit of a punch in that area. But I just breathed through it and that sensation was gone in about 20 minutes.

Hi Eve. Just wanted to let you know I’ve felt great since the reflexology. When I got home that night I felt a ‘lightness’, initially physically and then in the days that followed, mentally too. I woke on the Wednesday with a slight headache and feeling of weariness (neither unexpected) but then as the day moved on I was full of energy and positivity. I was fairly buzzing at work 😀 I’ve not had any anxiety since, not even little spikes which I’d had several times a day before 😀😀 I had a lovely weekend away with family too.
